Brockweir Youth Club is back in action!

 

There have been very successful Youth Clubs in Brockweir before, but there has not been one for over ten years now.

 

With over 36 children in the village between the ages of 7 and 15 it was definitely time to start Youth Club up again.

 

It is our aim to run as many special events and activity evenings as possible.

 

We will be meeting at the Mackenzie Hall every Wednesday at 7.00 pm.

 

8 - 10 years 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month 6.30 - 7.45 pm

 

11 - 16 years 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 7.00 - 8.45 pm

 

There will be table tennis, pool, table football etc, and of course a tuck shop.

 

We have already run two discos to raise funds, a Red Nose Day event, a Music, Dance and Drama workshop when 5 drama and music students worked with Youth Club to provide a stimulating and entertaining day, a play and carol singing entertainment for the senior citizens Christmas dinner, a Senegalese drummers workshop and much more.
